Welcome to English Connections! We are a volunteer network dedicated to serving the international student and scholar community of New York City. We provide a number of volunteer-based programs designed to help international students gain confidence in English, meet new friends, learn about American culture, and adjust to the NYC environment.
English Connections values integrity. We are a network of Protestant Christian volunteers. The organization of this network is a ministry of International Students, Inc. NYC Staff. Each volunteer signs an ethical statement and will conduct the group in a friendly and professional manner. Group content will always match our advertisements. Students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome in our groups.
